He has done it again! Mateo showed the 200+ crowd over at SOB’s (Sounds Of Brazil) his talent by putting on one great show that made me yearn for more as soon as we left! The crowd at the event included celebrity icon Quddus Philippe from Access Hollywood/MTV who was hosting the event, LexAve from STR8NYC.com, and rapper Emilio Rojas which opened up the event. The R&B heartthrob, Mateo, has recently been making a name for himself all over the country. With the release of his EP, “Get To Know Me”, Mateo has posed himself on the brink of something great.

Mostly recorded in a humble apartment studio in Los Angeles, MATEO’s upcoming album artfully avoids the assembly line of modern pop music by having thoughtful lyricism and sweeping melodies at its core. The first single, “Complicated” is an example of that, with its introspective and honest description an unintended love affair that is now reaching critical mass.
