Universal Motown recording artist Avery Storm hosted his very own listening event for his Category 5 Mixtape DVD on Wednesday, October 14th 2009 at Quad Studios. C5 is the pre-requisite to his eagerly anticipated debut LP “Shotgun Love” due in stores March 2010. Avery was penned as ‘Ones to Watch’ by XXL Magazine and has been featured in national media including Entertainment Weekly, Billboard and BlackBook Magazine. In Avery’s own words: “It’s called Category 5 for a reason; Category 5 being the most extreme strom there is. That’s just what this is. It’s Extreme!”
