With Mario's "Break Up" song flooding the radio waves, it's a no-brainer to go back into the studio and make some more hit records. Mario will be releasing a mixtape that includes a live recording of himself and a live-band in the near future. When asked about his current "DNA" album, Mario replied "A lot of this [current DNA] album is about letting females know that I know what it is they go through sometimes in relationships. I want to continue challenging myself and making incredible music that will connect with fans around the world."
His next single will be "Thinkin' About You" which is produced by The Runners and Rico Love. At the current moment "Thinkin' About You" is No. 53 this week on the charts and is expected to climb. Mario is currently looking forward to travel the road on the "106 & Park" tour with Trey Songz. The lineup that includes Sean Garrett and Day26. The "106 & Park" tour is the first of a recently announced partnership between Live Nation and BET. It kicked off Sept. 29 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles and wraps Nov. 25 in Las Vegas. Mario will also perform at the Powerhouse '09 concert presented by New York radio station WWPR (Power 105.1). The Oct. 27 lineup includes Chris Brown, The-Dream and Keri Hilson.
