MySpace recording artist MATEO released “Get To Know Me: Live At Swing House”, a live performance album/DVD. Get To Know Me: Live At Swing House releases on the heels of Mateo’s national Sorority/Fraternity college tour kicking off September 8th at Arizona State University through November 13th at UC Irvine with up to 40 city dates being added. After recently doing dates with Making The Band’s Day 26, J. Holliday, Colby O’ Donis, De La Soul, & Erykah Badu, armed with his trusted piano the tour & EP will feature favorites from Mateo’s groundbreaking Underneath The Sky cinematic mixtape series: Ohh N Love, Get To Know Me, Human, Till She Goes, Underneath The Sky and Complicated. A few weeks ago, I did a LIVE show videotaping in a VH-1 Storytellers format. It came out waaay better than I expected!! There are no words to express how EXCITED I am about this project. I’ve worked really hard over the past couple years and feel like this is truly a stepping stone towards a really positive future. I perform songs such as Complicated, Human, Ooh N Love, and Get To Know Me with a 7 piece band and talk through the inspiration for each song.
