In 2009, American pop singer-songwriter Kristinia DeBarge recorded the song “Future Love“, for her debut studio album Exposed. The new recording features a slightly different set of instruments to give the melody a softer and more radio-friendly sound. Apart from this the song remains exactly the same as the original Varsity Fanclub version co-written and produced by Ryan Tedder. "Future Love" is produced by Jim Jonsin.
“Future Love” alongside the song “Sabotage” were released together as a double a-side release to US radio on July 21, 2009. “Future Love” was sent to pop radio and “Sabotage” to US Rhythmic/Urban crossover stations.
