Jay-Z and Alicia Keys pays homage to New York City in his music video for Empire State of Mind. The video captures many of the majestic boroughs and surrounds of the Big Apple, including several famous landmarks, such and Rockefeller Center and Yankee Stadium. The music video was filmed on October 1, 2009, in Harlem, Times Square and around Ground Zero of New York City. The video was directed by Hype Williams.
