It was written by Nathaniel "DanjaHandz" Hills, Marcella Araica, Kevin "KC" Cossom, Shaffer Smith, Keri Hilson and Kanye West. The music video for "Knock You Down" was shot in Los Angeles, California with director Chris Robinson.
