Last night, the streets of New York might have been covered with a fresh slippery coat of rain, but that didn't stop fans from leaking out of their homes in support of Alice Smith's 3-week residency at Rockwood Music Hall (last night was the first show). The dimly-lit intimate sit-down venue held no more than 100 of her closest fans. With the crowd eager to see her perform, and just on time, Alice and her band hop on stage while also reminding the crowd about her upcoming March 19th EP release titled "She" via Rainwater/Thirty Tigers. Setting the stage she did a few covers of a few classic Motown tracks while also giving a taste of her new project by premiering a brand new track titled "Another Love". Keeping her fans in mind she also performed previously released material which included "Dream", belting out her Cee Lo Green cover of "Fool For You", and "She". Make sure to catch her this upcoming Tuesday or catch her the next Tuesday after that. There's no excuses. (tickets for week 2 / week 3)
