This week singer songwriter Jarell Perry releases another single from his forthcoming LP, Simple Things, aptly titled 'Whiskey a Go Go.' "Whiskey is kind of an ode to my drink of choice, but it's also just about letting go after a long day and getting loose with your friends," he says. This celebratory bar anthem comes just in time for the New Year.

Jarell is previously known for co-writing Fat Joe and Chris Brown's "Another Round," which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart in 2012, and plans to release his own solo effort in early 2013.

To promote 'Whiskey a Go Go' and his upcoming LP, he'll be performing a set alongside Ty$ and BJ the Chicago Kid in Los Angeles on January 17th at the Key Club.
