We featured Chris Turner last year, and he has just released a video for his song 'Liquid Love'. An Oakland native, Chris knew from the age of four that he wanted to sing, and following this passion saw him become the featured vocalist for the SF Jazz High School All-Stars. He also participated as a student at the Young Musicians Program at the University Of California, and graduated from the New School University for Jazz and Contemporary Music where he met his future band-mates in ERIMAJ, the band described by the New York Times as 'a mischievous convergence of past and present jazz'. He has featured on BET 'Music Matters' as an artist to watch, and has toured with the likes of Gwen Stefani, Chris Brown and Esperanza Spalding. 'Liquid Love' is taken from his 'LOVElife Is A Challenge' project, with Chris saying that 'it has taken all this time for me to gain the confidence to express what I have been living through this whole time...'LOVElife' is my melodic contribution that highlights the significance of loving yourself, sharing growth, and learning to forgive'. Chris will be performing at our R.A.W (Real Art Works) showcase.
