Terry Pinkard, who performs as TSoul, hails from Virginia, and is a singer, songwriter and producer. Playing the piano from an early age, he got his start in music performing locally in Virginia, but gradually came to wider recognition after he started posting covers on YouTube. 'YouTube has, kinda like, put a real jump-start on my career, I'm glad I was able to take advantage of the free media... artists like Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland...they see my covers and have tweeted them, put them out there, and spoken to me about it...it jump started my YouTube page...it brought a lot of recognition to my personal album 'Love & Music'...which is good, because they see me as an artist, not just as a person who is, you know, on YouTube covering songs.'  This wider recognition has opened up many opportunities for him, including performing at  BET Music Matters; performing at B.B. Kings; winning Syleena Johnson's Acoustic Soul Search and performing at Blues Alley; and performing with Amel Larrieux. He says, 'My biggest inspiration is life, because I feel that the music that I make is true to life, it's about love, and it's just experiences that I've either been through, or I've witnessed, and I feel like that makes the best music, life, because that's what we all can feel, and it's real.'  As well as his album 'Love & Music', he has also released 'Happy Holidays', and here he sings 'Best of Me', and below, 'Complicated'.
