A singer/songwriter from Texas, Basil S. Barker, who performs as "B.Sharpe" or "Billionear Sharpe", grew up in New York where he attended the Brooklyn High School Of The Arts. His passion for music saw him become involved in the group "Impact" as a sophomore, and, when the members parted ways, he and his adopted brother Rich Lowe (who we have also featured here on TheNext2Shine) formed the duo "RnB", writing and producing their own material. Sharpe's decision to move to Texas saw the duo split, and, arriving in Texas, Sharpe initially put performing on the back-burner and instead devoted several years to building his own musical catalogue, working with the Brooklyn based Starting 5 Productions. After honing his songwriting and production skills, he began to release projects he had worked on, including in 2012 'The Invitation' , 'ENJoY' and the Foster Brothers Music mix-tape 'Y.M.R.$'. Sharpe feels that 'music should play on the real emotions of people. Whether it is happiness, sadness, anger, or love', for him the act of making music means that he wants to 'write from my soul, so a piece of me is left on every aspect of the music that I take part in.' Here he sings 'You Should Be Mine", and, below, 'Monster'.
