It is difficult to say from one song when an artist is the ‘next big thing’ (frankly, it’s impossible) but one song tells you a lot about one’s vocal ability. Sam Smith has the UK ogling over his new release, ‘Lay Me Down’, a song which was written by Sam, himself about the loss of someone dear, showcases the incredible voice he has. He has the type of vocals, which literally gives you goosebumps upon hearing them and the ability to translate raw emotions across to the listener as well. Could he be UK's 2013 musical export?
