Watch List: Typhene - No Diggity

This is what we love about what we do here at TheNext2Shine... coming across singers who have their own unique and distinctive vibe, and Belgium's Typhene is the perfect example, with her raw, raspy and soulful voice immediately grabbing the listeners attention. Beginning to learn to play the piano at the age of five, she started writing her own songs at the age of 12, taking inspiration from he likes of  Stevie Wonder's 'Master Blaster' , and listening to old vinyls of artists such as Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Eric Clapton, The Eagles and Randy Crawford. Her appearances from the age of 14 at various festivals saw her soon under management, and at 16 she recorded her first studio tracks before entering the drama and music college at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Here she displays her distinctive vocals as she covers 'No Diggity' by Blackstreet, and, below, 'Ain't No Sunshine' by Bill Withers.
